Description
Large scale Dots Painting
This is the first time i tried this style , i did not bother doing it on a small scale - wanted to go big right on
It was done on a large paper like all of my other large scale drawings. The paper im using is : Montval - aquarelle / watercolor 300g 152X152 , that paper can take a beating without ever curling or breaking.
I used only tattoo color. Like mention before im a tattoo artist and its just more convenient to use tattoo color then to go out and buy regular color. To work with tattoo color is almost like working with liquid acrylic.
The challenge i have set my self with this piece was : using only one size brush ( about 1,5 cm ) no other brushes where used. I must admit it was hard holding back and refining the image and adding more detail. Normally when i did my other large drawing this is how my early stage of the drawing would look like.
But wanted to try something different again, to improve my other areas and to open new possibility for even more different projects in the future
Would also note that the original reference photo was taken by : David Lazar . He is one of my favorite photographers
You can see all of my other more detiald large scale drawings here : www.facebook.com/media/set/?se…
