Another reason would be is that they liked the deviations they uploaded so much they wanted to share them. I know that's not a very good reason but it's usually the first that crosses an 'innocent' person's mind when they see are they like. They like it, why not share it? I find that's the main reason for new people who steal/trace art on dA.
yeah i wouldn't mind at all if they would notify me about posting my photo.
and i guess there is not a single person here who dident trace a pic of someone else when they where starting out ^^
